At Securitatem Group we actively support switching the daily commute from cars to bikes, making the switch to a more sustainable initiative.
Biking makes sense for our employees, our business, and the community as a whole and where possible our staff are encouraged to make the switch. Making a positive move towards a more sustainable future is something our business is actively endorsing through commitment to a bike to work scheme for our staff. As climate change become more prevalent, we want to play our part in a better future – by making small changes we can make a big difference.
Furthermore, the NHS suggest adults do at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity activity per week. Biking is a great way to get started, undertaken an active lifestyle has unlimited health benefit. We continue to proactively promote the scheme throughout all our group companies, Securitatem Consultancy, Securitatem Installations, Securitatem Operations and Securitatem Training.
Securitatem Group is proud to announce the introduction of Benenden Health private healthcare for all PAYE employees.
At Securitatem Group, our employees are important to us and we are pleased to give them a discretionary healthcare package that gives them access to request private diagnosis, treatment, and physiotherapy along with remote GP appointments and counselling when they need it.
Effective as of the 1st June 2021, staff will have access to a GP and Mental Health Helpline 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Benefits also include contact with a care adviser, who can provide advice and information on adult care issues.
The service will also be extended to include medical diagnostics, medical treatment at one of the hospitals in the treatment network for certain procedures, physiotherapy, mental health counselling support and financial assistance after 6 months of membership.

Last week Securitatem Installations received a finalist place at the British Security Awards 2021 for Installer of the Year. The event organised by the British Security Industry Association will be held online on the 30th June and celebrates the finest achievements of the UK’s security industry.
Securitatem Installation received recognition for its recent work with the Canterbury Oast Trust, a Kent based charity who operates a family friendly farm which supports vulnerable adults. The organisation required immediate assistance upon receiving intelligence that its livestock was under threat during the early stages on the coronavirus pandemic, which saw food shortages hit the country. The company stepped in to mitigate any safety issues, install all necessary security systems and sought no monetary gain from a charity, which was already financially affected by the national lockdown.
The group also received acclaim earlier this year, when Securitatem Consultancy became a finalist for Outstanding Event Security Team at the Outstanding Security Performance Awards 2021 in February. This accolade was a result of the team’s superior performance during the 15th Biennial General Conference for the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) in London.
Securitatem Group CEO Joe McGee said “We select the finest individuals for our workforce, and this is reflected in the incredible response we receive from our clients and now from the industries annual awards. Receiving two finalist nominations during a challenging year for all is an astonishing achievement and something Securitatem Group is extremely proud of.”
